I have a feeling there are more...we had such a good crop last year..this year I am not so sure ...

They blend in so well that we found most of them in the morning after the feeding frenzy when there was no plant left. My neighbor told me to try dusting the plants with flour. They don't like it very much. The only other thing you can do is to examine each plant daily and pick them off.

Oh - I just now saw this! I found a Walnut Sphinx moth on my kitchen window yesterday - couldn't get a great pic but I got this:

I don't know why it's so blue! But, he was a beautiful creature, and I believe he arrived this year for the milk thistle, which I understand they are fond of. :)

How big is that moth? it looks huge in my imagination.

Cool picture...I have seen them the size of my hand... I am still looking for my terra moth to change into a beautiful butterfly/moth..

i had a dream about a catepillar just like that the other day, but i cant member if i dreamed about it or i was it in the dream >.<
