I mean, yeah, that's the sound bite everyone's taking away from it, but he was actually talking about his concern with the left's purity and outrage cultures and how he chooses not to participate in boycotts because he they're inconsistent and give people too much leeway to feel virtuous without actually doing anything useful about the issues. Obviously, you have the right to be mad at him; I just want to offer a deeper context for what he meant when he said that.
