Welp, the Missus and I got legally married on August 1, and our Fringe Festival show opened on the 3rd. So while we didn't participate in any formal rituals (or bake any bread , though this is the first Lammas in years it's been cool enough that doing so would've been halfway comfortable for a change), I definitely feel we were right on top of the harvest symbolism.

Our wedding was the fruit of years of work by thousands upon thousands of pro-marriage equality activists. And the Fringe show is a script that was written in the summer of '11, an application that was submitted last November, and 7 months of hard work by our production team.

It may not have been corn dollies or Lugh's funeral procession, but it sure felt holy to us.
