My mum got a stomach cramp/ache today, and I was wondering what is the best thing that she could take for it.
I've read Chamomile tea is good for things like that. Is it the best remedy and is there anything else she could take at all?. |

Chamomile is a relaxing nervine,is antispasmodic, a carminative(helps move gas) as well as a mild bitter, and can help the stomach for sure and is very safe too, as long as there is no allergy. But the problem here is I don't know what caused the attack; it's tough to make recommendations without more specifics. Did it come on after eating? Does she have a history of reflux/heartburn? Gallbladder disease? Was the pain acute or dull? Is there any nausea?
Many herbs can address the stomach, but the best one, is the one best matched to the individual. What do you think brought it on, David?
