me too. the blue in lapis is usually a standard blue leaning towards a bluish green. but not quite a bluish green. the blue in sodalite is more darker in color. also you will see either black or very dark blue shades in it as well. also the white in sodalite is a bright white. the white in lapis has an almost yellow tint to it. also another dead give away is traces of pyrite in lapis where you do not see it in sodalite.

I get a way different energy feel from the Sodalite,still a very beautiful pendant.

i finally got a piece of lapis i loves it! its blue but has a grey crystal growth on the inside of one corner

Lapis is one of the oldest stone Egyptian like to wear this as well. Lapis lazuli stone properties are also amazing.
