Default Tea Time

I was searching the forums and I couldn't find anything regarding tea, so I thought I'd start a thread.

What is your favorite tea?

Do you have any recipes you'd like to share?

Or yummy suggestions?

Comfort teas?

Healing teas?

I just like regular shop tetley with a wee bit of milk&honey. Try subbing stevia but honey is just damn good.

Usually only do other herbal ones for a specific reason, and I just have it with lemon.

Two words: Earl Grey. Best served from a proper teapot with a bit of milk (I have a milk jug in the shape of a cow... weirdly it's one of my favourite things).

Otherwise I love Chai, as long as it doesn't taste too much like liquorice.

I've tried Stevia in tea but I can't deal with the weird saccharine like aftertaste.

There's an Earl Grey cream tea I buy loose at my local herb store - it is jut tsublime, but I don't know where it comes from. Must ask next time I'm in..with a little milk and honey...and, hopefully, a scone..

I like black teas and teas with lemongrass. Ceylon was my go-to as a child and still is my comfort tea now, especially when I feel sick or a little out of sorts. I don't add anything to my tea whatsoever. Just pure black tea and a cup to cradle it in.

I've tried black tea but I can't deal with it, but when I put milk in my tea it's the tiniest amount so I'm not sure why I can't. The ladies I work with like their tea milky but I find then it tastes too much like hot milk and not enough like tea.

I'm fond of Ti Kuan yin, it's a light oolong. A little bit of sugar is all the additive needed in my opinion.

I love tea and drink iced green with red rooiboos tea all day long every day, sweetened with sugar. I will sometimes use blueberry instead of the rooiboos but prefer the red rooiboos. My iced teas are always sweetened with sugar.

I enjoy the red rooiboos hot on cold nites. Hot chamomile to calm and center. Hot passionflower for anxiety, sleeplessness and night time pain. Hot raspberry leaf and nettle in the mornings just for nutrient support. Hot teas are always sweetened with honey, sometimes a drop or two of vanilla added.
