Default Plant Intelligence

Interesting article on intelligence and behaviour, which are usually seen as the preserve of animals:


Some of the research has aroused some controversy but, in science, that's a good thing. Read the whole article through, as the first part deals with some of the 'New-Agey' stuff that did this type of research no favours and probably helped to bias many against the notion of intelligence in plants (and rightly so).
