That course sounds like a lot of fun! When I set up my own courses, I think I will start with that Ray ( Green) instead of how Mara has you do it. Most of the people who are waiting for me to do courses are EarthPath-focused and it makes sense for me, to start there. I love working outside too, just in the process of restoring the two outdoor altars, the snow just decimates them every year.

A few more years. I have things to get done in herbalism and dogstuff first.

Sigh.

I am on my last lesson for The Sacred Earth Magic. I am taking a bit more time with this. I still have been wanting to go back and redo the first part, just because it was so much fun for me, spiritually.
I am putting finishing touches on my staff. This second part, while different, because most of it is on my own, it is still a very educating process. I do prefer a time line and more group discussions with somethings, but I am learning to set aside my special time for my lessons.

I've decided to pick up both courses in AMS and complete them both. I have 2 left in the one course,e and 6 in the other, but the one with 6 left is a course I should be able to moves wiftly through.
After that I am going to do the Bardic Year (OBOD) mainly because I bought all the materials and I want to get to the Ovate year . So that's where I am at right now. I spend all my time studying herbalism, teaching herbalism, seeing clients, making medicines...and I love it! but I need to move ahead with some other things as well. So, for the next 18- 24 months, this is it for me.

So my update: I know I have been MIA for a while so much upheaval, that I have asked for, so I can't complain too much...
I am currently , slowly working on the last part of Mara's course. Slowly, because of the holidays, last year, business stuff this year. This part I work with the Archangels. It is powerful, enlightening and of course sit very well with my beliefs. I will keep you updated. I am hoping she will have another part of this to help put it all together.
When I do a ritual, for a specific thing, there is so much information that I spend so much time organizing it, I feel like I'm spending too much time and not just letting it guide me. Although sometimes that does happen and I just pair it down to the most important points. Any who...thats where I'm at.

hi thinking of mara's group, also in contact with a very small group, question is there a huge difference between the mentor option or not? It's 10 lessons per program?

thanks

just got John Matthews Arthurian magic

Its 10 lessons yes.

I did Mara's first part with the group, we met once a month via phone and power point. There was no rush to finish, but I liked it because it gave me a deadline, not necessarily to rush the lesson but to be able to pace myself with more focus.

The next two classes are without a group but you can have her mentor you, I would some questions about certain things...but I really didn't ask her much. Her class is very well outlined and very easy to follow. I am on the third and last class and I am way behind of what I would normally be doing. I am on lesson three from 2016.
I will be excited to start up.
I would say maybe do the mentoring the first class, then if you do the second and third pay per class without it.
I also did get the mentoring package, just in case.

so I took the plunge, received 2 unmentored lessons, looks good, looks like what i've been doing the past 20 years or so...
looks like I will find this "easy." which is actually good

I'm looking into another course through a small group in Glastonbury, that are doing Qabalah with WG Gray's placements...
