Isn't this a great image? I am somewhat taken aback by how drawn I am to Wotan - after three decades as a Pagan and no real connection to any male deity - suddenly, I am enamored of one.
You wouldn't be the first woman to be snared by Lord Odin, Fera.

A few months back I had an encounter with Odin and Freya, then got the feeling that I was supposed to go to one of the local occult stores and look at statuary. I went there looking for a statue of Odin or Freya, thinking that was what this feeling meant. But there were no statues of Odin or Freya, however as I looked around more closely I saw a couple of bird statues. My eye was attracted to them and I asked if I could see them. The store owner said that they had been in the store for years. They were ravens, one looking forwards and the other looking back as if remembering something, thought and memory. I brought them home and they are sitting in a prominent spot on my bookshelf. It seemed an appropriate place for them.

I do love when things like that happen, Nacken. You were meant to have the ravens, no doubt.

Yes they look happy sitting on my bookshelf--well as happy as ravens can look.
