Default Yearly capacity of renewables, surpasses fossil fuels

Sometimes, depending on where you live, the idea of renewables seems far away, almost a losing battle against the titans of oil. From my perspective, and what I've seen in the last couple of years, this seems less so. A recent EU tour, I have never seen more solar panels in my LIFE as when I drove from one end of Germany to the other. Now, even here in Canada, I'm starting to see them popping up on roofs here. One of the major blocks to solar is the ability to store that power, and a recent Telsa battery initiative will solve all this.

But recently, the yearly added capacity crown, goes to renewables, not fossil fuels.

It's a start.
